I like valentines day, some say it's only about capitalism and to make money. Sure if you want to see it that way: fine. But seriously what's wrong with celebrating the people you love? What's wrong with appreciating your friends and family? Of course you should appreciate them all 365 days of the year but isn't it nice to have a special day to just celebrate them? And if you don't like buying stuff then don't! That is not the thing that is important, you really don't have to gift people to make them feel important. All you need to do is to tell them how much they mean to you, just as simple as that.
And finally to you all bitter and jealous people out there: You don't need to have a partner to be happy. You don't need to hate other people for their happiness. You don't have to feel worthless because you are alone at valentines day, that is just crazy. Celebrate yourself, friends and family. Learn to love yourself and learn to accept others. Remember: Nobody loves a hater.
Yeah I sound like a preacher and I don't want to sound like a cliché but you get where I'm going, right?
Happy valentines day homies!
